This October, the UN Association of Greater Boston brings you the 8th annual Global Voices Film Festival, which screens powerful international documentaries and provides a forum to discuss international issues and concerns. The festival, presented in conjunction with the Harvard Kennedy School New England Alumni Association, will be held from October 8-11 in Harvard Square.
Global Voices will have multiple thematic sessions, with each session comprised of a documentary screening and an associated event to place the topic in a broader context. We invite you and your students to join us for dialogue on our themes in focus: Human Rights/Cultural Heritage, Women’s Advocacy, Global Health, Environment, and War & Peace. Please review film descriptions here.
The cost of attending the film festival is only $6 per person-- we offer a reduced rate of $5 if you bring at least 10 people. Feel free to contact us for additional information at (617) 482-4587 or lunangst@unagb.org. We hope to see you this fall!
